Mosley has reflected on 10 years experience in the Street Works and Utilities markets to produce a process that completely redefines the way excavations take place.

 

The lo-dig process enables massive savings in excavation, time and reinstatement. It uses a special tool to take a token of a surface (tarmac, concrete, paving etc) Once the key-hole incision is made in the surface, specifically designed tooling is used to perform a variety of tasks.

 

A truly minimalist approach to excavation is achieved, saving huge costs when compared to traditional means of excavation

 

The “cookie” removed by the cutter is replaced leaving the ORIGINAL surface sealed and perfectly reinstated. Time for a typical excavation and reinstatement is usual under an hour.

   

This technique has lead us to develop tooling for many different applications including:

  • Pipe crimping
  • Post installation
  • Security barrier installation
  • Valve repair
  • 'Wizkey' installation.
